Now, the FOILStar is being offered with ACI's cost-effective DPL Smart Marker Nd:YAG laser. The FOILStar 300 offers a labeling alternative for any location where direct laser marking is not possible, but resistant lettering is required. In the field of labeling technology, laser marked tapes are especially beneficial against counterfeiting and a low cost alternative to direct part marking.
With their new marking laser, the DPLSmart Marker, ACI Laser GmbH offers a cost-efficient entry-level system for laser material processing. ACI's new diode pumped solid state laser, the DPLSmart Marker, is the perfect tool for the cost effective laser marking of a whole range of different materials. The DPLSmart Marker is compact, air-cooled, and has low running costs.
The FOILStar 300 and DPL Smart Marker can easily create fixed or variable texts, codes or logos. Marking Software (included with purchase of the machine) controls the transport of the tape and the entire marking process. In addition, the laser is able to cut the required peel outline of each label. As a standard, the FOILStar300 is equipped with a mechanism for cutting off complete labels or sheets of labels to the desired length. An optional take-up spool is available when required.
The FOILStar 300 is now available with a new line of universal serial bus (USB) ACI compact laser markers! This feature accelerates data transfer to the steering galvos at up to forty times over the traditional serial port transfer, improving cycle times and the ability to mark on the fly.
ACI lasers do not have the traditional bulky power supply found with most lasers of its class. Believe it or not, the power supply is contained within the rail (head), which makes for easy integration and operation. The integrated thermo-electrical cooling system avoids the space and maintenance required by additional supply and cooling systems, and provides for the stable operation of solid-state lasers. The result is a substantial reduction in operating costs.
